Free(e.P.)
Fre(e.P) was and is an experiment in pop music self-assembly, montage and theft. Borrowing from one particular songs bassline whilst using lyrics from a novel, sung in the style of a known dead performer perhaps? This style/genre later became more familiar and referred to as 'mash-ups' seemingly
10 tracks of other peoples music sliced and squeezed through a.P.A.t.T.'s brains and coming out like erm ..this. This was and is still a fully free release.
Originally distributed in a .zip with an accompanying flash video which depicts a lot of where the base musical material comes from.
